the first lemon is from a trip about 2 weeks ago with me and jd hammer, and hammer also hooked up to a nice fish that cut him off. the next two lemons i caught a couple of days ago by myself, the first night i caught one a little over 5ft, and then a little later my other rod gets a solid run, i throw it into free spool let it eat, locked down and started running i was hooked up. before i even turned around it started pulling a little drag with the rod on my shoulder, and then the hooks pulled. i then reeled in my 14/0,and saw what happend. both my hooks were straightend out a little. i then left and met up with picua and some of his freinds on one of the keys bridges and hung out and fished a bit. then when we all packed up they gave me thear left over bait witch i used the next night and ended up catching this veary nice lemon. Nice lemons kiddo,,,,,,keep up the good work.By the way those hooks are not striaghtened -they're just bent a bit .Usually a hook will straighten after a long fight when you're hammering down the star drag because you're getting close to getting SPOOLED!! 
I would say hook failure was not the cause you lost that shark rather the hooks did'nt take a bite properly.
