UPDATED DEC 18th, 2009 The Triple Crown prize is shaping up to be a battle til the end with big catches since the first part of the year.In the lead in the Biggest HAMMERHEAD category is Shannon Bustamante with his 12 ft 2 inch bridge caught beast and in the Biggest BULL SHARK James Fuqua(Jd Hammer) with his 8 foot 3 inch Bull Shark is in the lead.. A REMINDER TO ALL SHARK CLUB MEMBERS =please fill out your catch sheets with entry you wish to make regardless of category or species(including sharks and Fish).You must document your catch ,take pictures and have a measuring tape next to your shark to verify overall length. Dec 26th will be a great day for alot of people. This years party to me is going to be our best ever due to our huge increase in shark club members,and influx of young talent. lots of new faces will be standing up to recieve trophies like meir,sandra,johny fuqua and etc etc. I realy feel we are going to break records in 2010 and im anxious for our club to represent in this years land based tournaments. New members
miguel,reymundo,joe,and others are going to love the old sharkfishing videos,and the deep fried blacktip. I cant wait for the new year party.

Thanks to all who competed in this one of a kind shark fishing contest.We hope to make the 2010 announcement soon and probably will include the Mako shark although there are not enough caught from shore to make it a viable species for this 12 month tournament.

Tommorow I will be sending out in the mail Trophies,plaques,free dvd and other awards to winners in the many different 2009 Shark Club Tournament Divisions who were not able to attend our Christmmas Awards party December 26 th .2009 members who will recieve prizes in the mail are Ernie Polk,Mellissa Showman,Peter Barrett,Trevor Monroe,Catherine Davidson .For those of you who won awards and are local in south Florida call me or drop by the shark club office ,,,,,you know who you are.

Folks if we missed anyone please contact us .It's not easy ,,,,,it's just me and my wife Maggy trying to stay on top of everything club related and sometimes stuff slips through the cracks.

Good luck and thanks to all those who made 2009 our best and most productive year ever.
