say what you want.. I've caught plenty of 48 " fish... I've caught 4' bull sharks that would eat that thing for breakfast. Some peoples guestimations are more of a fish tale then anything.
read all the reply posts and you will see that that rod has a 2 ft butt and that the shark is bent at the middle

look at the pic each of those board is 6 inches and the shark is 6 1/2 boards and he says the shark is bent so so figure 7-8 boards then read his post and it says it was 4 foot or so so maybe he means 3 1/2 and back to the boards 8 boards is 4 ft and 7 is 3 1/2 ft

This is NOT productive. How about just congratulating the guy on the fish he caught and be happy for him. He's not trying to say a 7' fish is 12' long so what difference does it make whether its 2', 3', or 4'.
