Yep shure is. is the one i am baned from for life for breaking the rules. SHARKFISHIN. The same one that made a clown of me and my sport. the way they treated me is the reason they did not get to make a million or more on my mako.

You're right about them being foolish and not using the potential Mako catches from that pier and capitilizing on the fame it would produce ,not to mention all the anglers from the southeast United States who would come to pensacola and the pier to spend there greenbacks. What blind fools they are.The Pensacola Gulf pier -the longest and best built pier in Florida and they are squandering there chance to do so many great things for the pier, for Pensacola, for the local community and lastly for the sport of land-based shark fishing.

Very nice shark. I have three Hammers over 11 and have never weighed them. I would really like to know how much they weighed. There was at least 200 pds difference in a couple of them because of differences in girth. Very healthy fat Hammer, congrats.

Noaa has charts that compare length to weight. Its just an avarage. I have seen skinney hammers and fat ones. The females are alot fatter. Thanks for the good replies. Oh yea just a tid bit, she had hundreds of stingray stingers in its toung and around its jaw. She was a stingray murder.

That is one girthy fish...It is pretty difficult to judge a sharks weight especially the hammer...does noaa have those charts online?
if theyre over 12ft theyre atleast 500..unless theyre unhealthy or sick...
