Dusky in the early years

A dusky me and some good friends caught many many years ago in the Florida Panhandle. The scale it was weighed on only went to 330lbs. It topped that out before it was off the ground. The general consensus at the time was that it went around 400lbs. Thought it might be close enough to post in this forum.

I also caught a big hammer years later that was just over 11ft. It was released but never weighed I don't know if it was in the 400lb range but I do know it was an awesome feeling to see that beast on the sand. I'll try to dig a picture of that one up.

william,

It was over 9ft but I don't remember the exact length. It was actually caught in the heat of summer in the Panama City Beach area.
