that would be intense and the article said it was a tiger but diesnt really look like a tiger at all

its a Galapagos shark.... dorsal is too big for tiger, teeth too pointy, long fins, dark grey, in hawaii.. Galapagos.

Looks like a GW to me, but I am not good on the lesser known species of sharks. Also GW are rare off hawaii
It's a carcaradon carcharias. It's a great white shark.
Back home we got a taxidermy man. He gonna have a heart attack when he see what I brung him.
