If in schools this works great, where I am at though we get a lot of singles.  My buddy at skyway just uses like 8 9/0 shortshanks like a sabiki rig and does well.]]></content:encoded>

Yeah always with a rod and not a rope, they will see the rope and make it more difficult.  Weighted helps for strong winds and currents from bridges but it spooks them a little more with the splash, have to try it out at your areas to see what works best.  I use 150 braid on my saltist 6500 on top so i can just beast them up over the railing wherever I am at, use heavy line and make sure if using braid to have a heavy mono leader for shock.  Stay on top of them!]]></content:encoded>
