Hey. My name is Nick, I am 22 years old, I am not married and do not have any kids. I found this site while searching on google, Im glad that I did! I have been shark fishing for about three years now. I mostly fish the Beaches of Anna Maria island, where i live, including Lonboat Pass, and passage Key Inlet. I also kayak shark fish around Egmont Key, The Southwest Channel and local reefs. hey man welcome to the sfsc web site home of the hardcore sharkers.
well, i was thinking one night, i think i remember some of my friends [and i googled one of their names-rene i think it was and i found this website]. and so when i moved down from NYC with my parents, and settled on south beach, i was into fishing already so it was nice to have a fishing pier not too far from where i lived. [having been down here in south fla since 1971] havent shark hunted in years now, but even though i sold my 12/0 and 14/0 years ago now , i still have some shark hunting gear. I would love to get back into sharkfishing..sure!
I remember also someone that went by the name JIMBO, and this other guy that went by the name rene [my past long time friend, and fello sharkfisherman], rene usta hang with a taller blonde guy, dont remember his name at the moment. we all usta go down in this guys van, a guy named DAVE, or his nick name was rabbit i think..its been a long time now. Dave had a white van, he usta drive us sometimes down to sharkfish in the KEYS..... oh well.
thing is, i think i would like to start sharkfishing again, what ya think.. can i join?

1.i just found you guys one day when i was looking at some shark history.
2.about 2 and a half years.
3. i did a lot of shark fishing on the texas coast,piers, jetties, beach. and i just recently moved to the fl keys, the fishing is a whole different thing down hear so im in the process of figuring wear to fish and all that kinda stuff. i realy like fishing long key bridge.
4.just land.
5.the keys.
6.i would realy like to meet you guys.
7.and yes im veary interested in becoming a shark club member.
1: I first found this website while researching information on shark so that I would could know the basics on land based shark fishing and was hoping to get extra information on fishing for them.
2: I have never been shark fishing but i have caught many other species of fish. and am hoping to start shark fishing soon (this February).
3: The most common places i fish here in az is just the urban lakes and the lakes up north for trout. also do alot of cat fishing.
4:Mostly just fish from land and love it more than anything in the world.
5: not yet but will start in a few months.
6: the whole reason reason im here is to learn from what you guys know from personal experience.
7: I would love to become a member but since i live here in Arizona that probably wont happen.
8: my tackle is a 5,6 cabelas salt striker rod 50-130 lb rating and a penn 345 gti levelwind reel. spooled with 300 yards of 100 lb power pro and 150 yard of 80 lb berkley big game.
hi my name is jd im 19 years old, i live in the florida keys now, but did live and work on a boat in corpus cristi tx so i have done a good amount of fishing on the texas coast. and im now trying to learn whear to fish in the keys. and im also hoping to find people to fish with. so far its been kinda hard fishing by my self. so far i have fished the long key bridge its amazing out thear. but it is not a place to fish by your self i learned that the hard way by loosing a big bull. but for now do you guys have any suggestions on wear to fish?
Jd long key is hard to land a big shark alone, however ohio mizzouri is shallow and full of 5-8 foot lemons. Come febuary we will be in keys every weekend and you can join us

usa1 I personally don't think i know you, but some of the people you mention are here like JIMBO , Rene unfortunately has passed on but he lives within us all at the South Florida Shark Club.
Also usa1 please register next time you come so we can get to know you better and share storys.
