I just joined the club Im fairly new tp fl but been fishing my whole life.. been catching alot of Black Tip and BonnetHeads but im getting biggers reals and going after a monster the biggest so far is a 5ft bonnet head long story short im hooked for life i fish inthe tampa area my best luck is at the dunedin causway and the skyway

5ft bonnethead is either a monster bonnethead or not a bonnethead :lol: , welcome... The easiest way I find to upload pictures is to upload them first to photobucket.com <--- it's a free service that makes your images have codes like [IMG] (the one this website accepts), [https], etc, great site, easy to use, check out some of my posts. About fishing skyway area, my friend Aaron Bunch fishes around there, he used to work on the skyway pier but not sure if he still does or not, I think his name on the site here is 941sharker. its just under 5ft but yeah its the biggest bonnethead ive seen... caught at dunedin causeway useing a bluecrab as bait

this was @ dunedin causeway basically the tampa area..I live close to anclote but only fish there on my way home... :)

That's a nice size fish. I've never seen one that size. All the BHs I've caught are only a couple of feet long. Welcome!

Welcome to the site ,,that sure is a big bonnethead shark we're used to seeing them in the 2 to 3 foot range in the keys but never one that big.
