All I hear of Rene I feel like I knew him myself, it's possible that when I was younger I may have met him once, but I don't know. I try not to be competitive and it may be that same competitiveness that gives people short tempers, I see a bit of a connection. When I fish hard on the bridges, catch stingrays, jacks, and cudas for shark bait, if someone meets us on the bridge I'll give them whichever bait they choose that they like the best. If I don't have any bait to offer them I'll try and go catch them some myself.

And HEY, what's up CHAD! You need to start posting again, put some fish on the sand man, lets go fishing.

Colby, I understand your dilemma, I don't want to ruin your spot, I'll call you next time if I ever decide to go back.

Just an average fisherman.

Bro way to go!!!! Thats definetly one of the biggest hammers EVER ...and on a 12/0!!!!!

Btw I don't know too many of the people on this forum personally, however when I see the comments that people posted saying it was "their spot" ...it kinda sounds like the same people that flip out when you cast on "their" fish, or when your line gets crossed because your hooked fish runs under them. Just sounds like another ignorant fisherman who is just mad he didn't catch that fish

If I were them I would be happy just to have something to do with a monster t-head like that

I'm all too used to that kind of thing on the pier just as you mentioned, when somebody wraps up in my line I just sigh and sort it out.

Josh that's a lot harder to do than it sounds, I know a lot of people with short fuses that can't wait a night of rest to open their mouths, but I tend to be pretty mellow and don't act in bad ways, regardless people should try to follow through with your philosophy. Ernie I figured my shark to be a solid 900lbs could be more or less but that's just what I think about it. I have been told it was around 700 and over 1100 by different anglers, but I'll stick to the median. Thanks mom, but calm down, they aren't hating, they are just a little jealous that I got a nice one, they are good people too.

Your welcome & I ment to add jealous & I was calm & yes your 100% right about some people being jealous as that shark was huge! CONGRATS AGAIN SON!!!! 😉

And also slasher id love to fish with you sometime not only for the amzing catch but because it shows a lot about your character when you didn't even mad at someone tryin to bitch you out for claiming its their beach and their bait guy like wtf I show spots and hand out bait whenever I have it that's the selfishness and bullshit attitude not needed in a community of respected fishermen let me know if you ever fish east or west coast around central Florida ill definitely make the trip to fish with ya and nice catch again

That was an illegal shark to land. The regs are well publicized. You should have released the shark when you identified it. http://myfwc.com/fishing/saltwater/regulations/sharks/
