Congrats. That is a huge hammer. Did you take pics of the length? If you did it is a land based world record. All ya have to have is a length photo and it will qualify. It is alot bigger than yalls favorite team old school player. His current record is 12'3" so you have a bigger fish. Unless you just like Josh Emerson so much that ya don't want to take his record. Land mark fish for land based shark fishing!!!

I guess I like Josh Emerson a lot then cause the camera we had was dying and barely took any pictures and no shots of the tape, but I'm not worried about being famous, I'll leave that to you and your monster tigers and makos  .

You got a lot of fucking nerve mark. You know that is our spot. we have fished there for years and your not even from this area. you took from out bait guy and you fished our exact spot. its one thing to fish the area but our exact spot! come on man. colby takes you fishing and basically GIVES you gear when you need it. and you going to go ahead and abuse that by taking our spots. thats some bullshit. dont pull that stunt again.
Zack

This is exactly the type of behaviour that repulses us and we fight against this type of jealousy and envy among land-based sharkers .You "bonnifeid" piece of crap don't appreciate the friendship and kindness extended to you by by members of the SFSC and those on this site ,you are a selfish young fool ,you don't rememnber anything done for you last year. You caught your shark and we cut you slack and allowed you to enter the club after the fact and count your shark and you take a jab at a hard working sharker like Mark......shame on you!!
No one owns spots buddy, you are totally mistaken we share spots, and help improve each other,,,you have it all backwards ..Not once since last years BHC have you posted once or contributed to this site or the club IN ANY FORM and now this ---how dare you come out and accuse Mark of taking anyone's spot PUNK!!!Colby has been more then kind as we have been with him and spots are shared for the benefit of all.We don't have a patent or a claim on spots and neither does anyone else .This is not Boatless this is America and we are free to fish and hunt .You are deleted and banned, go On boatless you fit right in over there with all the haters and bashers.
Pee Wee you've been warned once and thats all the WARNING YOU WILL GET.......THE HATCHET HAS BEEN FILED and is ready.

Hey, you may think that you were the first anglers to ever fish this spot, but JD Hammer, Jerry, and others have been fishing the same exact area since the 1960's!!!! I support bullbuster monofilament and their team of great fishermen like yourself. All their positiveness on the shark fishing community has inspired me and I am grateful for such a nice catch but, I am very surprised that you couldn't be a little more mature when posting on a public forum, I try to keep this forum nice and not like other forums of fishermen arguing about small things, sometimes it's nice to share, I would take you to my best fishing spots if you just asked me with out any problems, sorry if I angered you. But I am not sure if I appreciate you trying to bully or boss me around, I am just a fellow fisherman and hope you may be able to understand after you have cooled down a bit. Good luck and I hope you get a big one too.

You sound like a jealous little bitch. Your bait guy? Lol. Man I was getting bait from Capt ( not going to mention his name on here ) while you were still going through puberty. Mark props to you. You caught the beast and that's that. Not cool at all from you guys. You just created a whole bunch of enemies due to your jealousy. Awesome catch Mark!!!!!!

Huge props to you man!!!! great catch!!! I showed my 6th grade math classes one of the pictures in your post today and when they saw that shark their jaws all dropped.. The question they kept asking me was "how did you not get eaten?" lol

By the way, The pic was an example of how to convert 14'2" into cm

I wish I get a shark like that in my lifetime! And I'm sure lots of others as well.
That was truly a monster shark.
