Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum but I have been using it as a reference for my shark fishing. Is this shark a Blacktip or a Spinner Shark? This one measured around 54 inches.

I believe that you have a nice black tip there, by looking at the placement of the dorsal fin in relation to the pectoral fin. On a spinner shark the dorsal fin would be farther along the back. Another way to tell which we can't see in the picture is by looking at the anal fin, black tip sharks have a pale anal fin while the spinner shark actually has a black tip.
