I saw one of these, and it looks like a TLD on steroids! how long have these been around? When did they stop making them? Is it practical to have a graphite reel that big? I also heard that the drags aren't good at all.
Does anybody have any experience with these reels?

First of all I hate Shimano but the Triton 80 is a really nice reel, the frame and side plates are all aluminum and 43#'s of drag and they hold a good amount of line too. They do not make them anymore but it is hard to kill one, you can still get parts for them.
