Thanks, Richard for sending Will the pics of my two reels, penn senator 16/0 reel in the back ground seems kind of small compared to the MONSTER EVEROL 20/0 REEL in the fore front, Been at home sick with the flu. P.S Hopefully we will see your Black Everol 20/0 Reel nick named Dark Vader joining the Everol Web Site and don't forget to post it here first, Good Luck and tight lines.

We live in a world nowadays that pretty much anything can be obtained including this giant size reel, I remember back in the days when the penn senator 16/0 was the biggest reel that could be bought, I know cause I bought mine back in 1977 for $150.00 + 6.00 tax which I still own to this date and have receipt to prove it. Now lets warp speed to existing times and this beauty of a reel appears, The BIGGEST reel on the Planet nothing like it with 180lbs. of drag and will hold 1050 meters of 300lb. test mono. It is something out of this world you better put a fighting chair bolted in the bed of your truck, strap your self down and hold on to the ride of your life.

Colors come in gold, blue, red, silver, and black. Price tag for this beauty is $2,450.00
UP DATE********* The reel is available in one or two speed versions, the two speed weight is 13.5 lb, outside diameter is 180mm (7.08 inches) X 150 (6.3 x 5.9 inch) factory spec's, Gear ratio same as 18/0 (3.1:1 high and 1.6:1 low)
Price is $2,450.00

TRULY A T' ING OF BEAUTY!!!!

I had my eye on one of these a while back. It was $1700 straight from Italy without the shipping. I made the mistake of contacting everol USA to see if I could get a deal right here in the US. Keith Wichmann is the President of Everol USA in Alabama and I dealt with him directly. His price was $2400 plus shipping. I said "Why should I give you $800 more dollars for a reel that is made in Italy?" Long Story short, I can 't buy the reel from Italy now. I guess he thinks he deserves $800 from each of us for an Everol that is made in Italy? Not from me! I WIll fly to Italy First! I'll buy 10 of them and sell them to everyone here for $1700! Give me a Break!

While not a bad idea, customs will likely tax you on your return. I would advise declaring them. You would also owe use tax (aka sales tax) in the state in which you reside. It will be difficult to keep ten reels the size of basketballs in your luggage and under the radar.

“Fish”, he said softly, aloud, “I’ll stay with you until I am dead”.

I agree Richard. I had all the customs and duty fees figured out, plus the shipping. It was like $1860 out the door, I just hesitated, and thought of getting ripped off. I just thought they were out of line demanding my money. I wish I would have pulled the trigger when it was hot. My Credit card would have protected me. I drew too much attention and it killed my Chance of getting one at the present time.

I might take you up on that. They now have the single speed for two G's here in the US.
