Who would you reccomend or who builds your custom rods. I dont have a job yet cause im only 15, but looking for a rod between 200-250 for a 14/0. I have been talking to a couple builders but was just trying to get the best built rod for the best price. :D thanks.

Where abouts are you located? That'll help narrow your search. My buddy Rick at "Ricks custom rods and components" on Madeira Beach builds my customs or I build mine. http://www.rickscustomrods.co/

They have 2 very nice Fenwick rods all rollers aftco.
They just got them in today a guy sold them to the shop.
I stopped by to check them out they are in awesome shape.
White blanks with brown/tan and black tread. metal reel seats and metal butts.
Solid glass 130 lb class rods really strong they are a bit over 7ft long.
He wants $200 per rod.
tell him Jimmy from the shark club told you to call him.
I'm pretty sure he would mail them to you.

They don't make rods there but they have a ton of used rods.
If you want to see them let me know I'll take pictures of them.

The price of custom builds get expensive because of the components, you start getting Winthrop rollers on 6 foot stick and it just about doubles the cost.

You would be surprised what Dave from Armbreaker can build for a very reasonable cost. Gary from Buddhahead also can build awesome rods for a lot less then most would think.

Give them a call or email about what you want and see what happens. Mention you talked to me about it, Both Dave and Gary are great people to deal with.

Here is the 2 Armbreakers I used on my last PEI trip
