April, May, and June have been awesome. I have far exceeded my sharking goals. Between my wife, Mike, Chris, and some of my friends from work, we have put some big bulls and nice tigers on the beach. My goal was to land a 10 foot tiger and we finally did. New goal = hammer over 10 feet. I got dumped/spooled by a big hammer two weeks ago on a 14/0. The hammer picked up my jack at 3:05 AM and finally dumped us at 5:00 AM. It was unlike anything I've ever experienced in my life! If I wasn't leaving in two months for job reasons, I would have purchased a 12/0 Duel the next day without a doubt. We are having a blast finally experiencing success and discovering how to consistently put big sharks on the sand. Thanks to everyone who has given me advice, loaned me gear, and for all the guys here on the shark club (thanks Will for starting this).
Shark totals since July 2013
Blacktips: too many to count
Bulls: 6 ft, 6.5 ft, 8.5 ft, 8.5 ft
Tigers: 5.5 ft, 8.5 ft, 10+ ft
Hammers: SPOOLED by a monster.... A hammer over 10 feet is my new goal.
Nurses: 6 ft, 7.5 ft, 8 ft, but who cares haha
Lemons: still looking for a lemon..

I love all the pic's. Looks like a great time. I have been away from any coast for a couple years now and cant wait to get back to Fla in mid aug. The only thing keeping me going is the great stories and pictures from this site. Again great job
