In the three years that I have known my friend Tyler Parker he has proven his mettle as a land-based shark hunter with a love of the sport that I rarely encounter.Tyler lives in Virginia and lives to come shark fishing in Florida with us.His drive ,energy and passion for land-based shark fishing have put him in contact with the likes of Jd Hammer,Peter Buban, and many other top notch shark fishermen and he is learning from them all.His drive to catch "de MONSTAH" shark is constant. He is Brave,Confident and Tireless,, he lives to fight big fish. I predict he will catch many in his lifetime. In November of 2013 he witnessed Peter Buban catch a near 14 foot hammerhead shark in some very difficult circumstances and the next day fishing alone at Sebastian Inlet fought an estimated 13 foot Tiger shark for 2 and a half hours, had it in the surf almost beached when the beast popped 600 lb mono leader. He was fishing by himself !!! I am glad to have him shark fishing with us, and PROUD to call my FRIEND, and Honored to have him as a member of the South Florida Shark Club.
