Just curious, i've never seen a big spinner with all heavy mono in action.
I agree with Ande being the best mono....they have a new product out called Ande "ghost". Spooled my Penn Fierce 4000 with it in 12# and it is amazing!!! My new Fav by far. Keep whackin' the Tippers...should be pokin' tags in 'em!!!

the 12lb mono broke on a stress test @ 28lbs.
It will cut your hand before you can break it.
but it does have a flaw. after a good fight the line changes colors from a green to a white/green and then it breaks way to easy.
so after a every fight you have to look over your line.
15lb test and up I like Ande & Bull Buster.

It's ok, it takes the sharp edge off the bottom of your rod that usually digs into your hip or stomach.
The only thing I don't like about it is when you cast you can't grip the bottom as easy.
It was on there for my wife, she loves it.
My oldest son loves it also.
for women and kids it's awesome.

Why are you casting with it on? I only use it when I am fighting a fish. I keep it in my pocket and pop it on the butt when I hook up.
