Double report same spot two sharks anna maria island

This is two reports smashed into one so on Sunday june 17th i had my kayak on the island and needed bait i fished some different spots but unfortunately couldn't find the rays caught a lot of spanish mackerel and a snapper but no great bait but i hit the beach anyways to see what i could do and I improvised by ghetto rigging two mackerel for each 14/0 j hook and on my tld 25 i put a mackerel snapper combination. With the baits paddled I changed into dry clothes and the daiwa 9/0 went off in minutes my friend st up and was disappointed immediately he realized a 3 footer found his mackerel lol but while hes cranking that in my tld beings a slow and steady run i let him eat for about 25 yards them pushed the lever passed strike and stuck him hard i was on the shark fought similar to sandbars ive caught we all joked it was a nurse but when it got close it did some nice runs so we kinda ruled that but guess what it was a big nurse unfortunately, we took him out and in a few seconds he swam away here is some pics

So here is a report of Thursday night this last Thursday the 28th. I invited a bunch of people i think some people werent attracted tot he idea of fishing with me because of swim buoys there turned out to be plenty of space 3 friends with each 1 rod and my two setups it wasn't that bad so i got out at about 3 and tried getting some fresh bait i caught a big sheephead in the bay on a hand caught crab i was happy to have this bait it brought back memories of a monster shark that tail whipped me when i was using a big sheephead for bait but also i had a hook up and had a big cownose big jack and big bonito so here comes the story fresh vs frozen bonita ray or jack would almost always be chosen over a sheephead but fresh caught bait pays off we had little action except for the tld with a ray wing a nice shark broke the breakaway and i let him eat it good with that nice size bait i stuck him and drag peeled off the tld and he was gone i sat in the sand and wanted to cry myself to sleep but with the support of my friends i sat up in anticipation for the next bite my 9 felt loose and i realized the breakway must have came off but i let the sheephead just drift down the beach and then clos to midnight it happened the 9 began screaming I set up on him and it was fish on! This shark didn't have much fight to him he swam up and down the beach and made only two short runs once we got him close we leadered him it was a decent bull we didn't have a tape but we cut a piece of string at his tail he was 6 foot 4 inches my friend said after wards when he measured the string here is pics...

This bull shark was in amazing health it looks rough in the pictures but it swam off immediately..
Im 14 just about to turn 15 so far this summer i have caught a 5ft blacktip that 6 foot bull and the big 7 plus nurse hopefully there is more to come this summer is going great for me if anyone wants to fish the anna maria beaches hmu sometime 565-0070
