Caught a hard fighting 10 foot hammer last night .Got an invitation to fish with my buddy Josh and Peter and that was just what the doctor ordered because I was down in the dumps not feeling too optimistic but I pushed myself to get a move on and hit the beach. I made the right decision to go shark fishing on this day. This shark fought hard on my Penn 14/0 , was quickly de-hooked and released, and swam away strong to fight another day. April is a superb month to get out and fish for big sharks and I am grateful to be on the beach again.
That night the ride home allowed me to meditate, to reflect ,to be thankful for all I have been blessed with and that includes my shark fishing friends. Shark fishing has always been a source of inspiration and motivation , a reason to push myself to always do better. Thank You.
