2016 Sharks After Dark Tournament -Hammer N the Phenoms

The 2016 Sharks After Dark Shark Tournament was an oppurtunity to connect with old friends once again.The whole team worked together really well but more importantly we had fun doing what we enjoy most -catching sharks. During the 10 day tournament we traveled together often in Shannons truck sometimes for hours to fish faraway places and all the while we had awesome conversation about times gone by ,,,we got to play games ,listen to the radio and sing out loud like little kids. It felt great to be in the company of people very dear to my heart. As i get older I appreciate my old friends more .This tournament was invigorating for all in the team but especially for me- it shook rust off and gave me a taste of what drives my passion to catch big sharks .Hammer n the Phenoms remains an Iconic name in the sport of Land Based Shark Fishing. James Fuqua has been the most consistent shark hunter
in the history of our sport. No one that we know of has helped more young shark fishermen evolve into the sport as James Fuqua aka Jd Hammer. We had a great time and we look forward to doing it again in a big way very soon.
