This site is about fishing for sharks in Florida mostly from land and is dedicated to people who enjoy battling with the worlds most powerful and magnificent creatures. Our main objective is to unite with people like us who enjoy the thrill of fishing for sharks from any shorebound structure or boat. Our thanks and gratitude to those who have been our mentors, teachers and like family in their support of our endeavors in this great sport. All our respect and admiration for pioneers in our sport man such as Herb Goodman who fished for sharks from the shores of West Palm Beach well into his 70’s.
Man like Frank Mundus who continue to promote and participate in the sport after a life dedicated to it’s popularity. Man like Walter Maxwell whose world record Tiger Shark of 1780 lbs was caught from a pier over 40 years ago and still stands as the record. We are fascinated by sharks savage beauty and place at the top of the oceans food chain. Sharks although extraordinary creatures that have survived for millions of years now need and deserve our protection from over fishing by commercial fleets of the world. We encourage and promote catch and release and support tag and release for the study and survival of this dominant species.
Our shark club has been together for decades
maintaining a tradition of shore bound and boat shark fishing
started long ago in South Florida. It is our goal to maintain this
union of anglers who enjoy the same type of fishing and to also
accept new members who want to share with us the same passion for
shark fishing. We are a friendly bunch of people from all walks of
life and different backgrounds but the one thing we all have in
common is the love of shark fishing. We are a down to earth bunch
who is willing to help any and all to get started in our sport. Our
goal is to maintain and grow our shark club and to bring respect,
recognition and protection to the sport we enjoy.
