HI GUYS! just alittle tip ;
You probably all know this but just in case; like I said I lived in the Cape , fished all over that area
ANYWAY , besides Sharks I had a blast with SNOOK { who doesn't!!??}
Take a good Casting or Spinning rig with you when you go out on the beach, get some RAPALAS; "HUSKY JERK" I had real good luck with Chrome,Blueback,Orange belly, fish them parallel or nearly so to the beach , the Snook tear it up ,really hard hits, theHusky Jerk "suspends" & they can't let it go I guess,
I used a 6' casting rod, Custom from CAPE TOOL& TACKLE built on an UGLY STIK Blank fuji ceramic guides long butt 20# rod ,/Ambassaduer 6500Cireel loaded w/ 17# trilene & used AN40 SilverThread too sometimes 17#
Seems like the Snook & others patrol parrallel to the beaches
